The Kamasutra Tarot combines the structure of tarot with 78 stylized images from the ancient Indian text known for covering romantic love, sexual mechanics, the process of finding a wife, and its illustrations of various sexual positions.

Kama is the pleasure or taste provided by the five senses, aided by the union of spirit and soul. According to legend, the Kamasutra or “aphorisms of love” was created by the Indian god Shiva.

Shiva, overwhelmed by the pleasures of sexual experience, dictated a compendium on erotic art to a servant in order to present the amorous practices he himself experienced. Inspired by the original text, the Kamasutra Tarot is designed to help individuals on their quest for enlightenment through the senses.

The Kamasutra Tarot from the renowned publisher LLo Scarabeo consists of a deck of 78 cards and a booklet of instructions.

The cards measure 7.00 cm in width by 12.00 cm in length, and the instruction booklet is available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
