Zener cards

\n

Zener cards are used to measure and evaluate intuitive abilities through extrasensory perception experiments.

\n

Each deck consists of 25 cards (5 of each of 5 different symbols). A subject selects one card at a time from the deck and waits for the other person to identify the symbol on the card. The number of correct choices is evaluated at the end of the draw. These sessions should be repeated to accurately assess and develop clairvoyant abilities.

\n

The Zener cards come with a deck of 25 cards, an instruction manual, and a cardboard case to store the manual and card deck.

\n

The cards measure 8.8 cm in width by 12.50 cm in length, and the instruction manual is available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and German.

\n

The colors of the cards may vary slightly from what is shown on your screen due to screen settings and photo editing.

About Zener Cards

\n

Zener cards were invented by parapsychologist Joseph Banks Rhine as a simple and statistically measurable way to test clairvoyance and telepathy using scientific methods. J. Rhine named the deck after his colleague Karl Zener, a psychologist who studied perception. Dr. Zener selected the five designs/symbols that would appear on the cards.

\n

The deck consists of 25 cards, with 5 of each symbol. The five designs that appear on the front of the cards are a circle, a Greek cross with equal-length lines, a five-pointed star, a square, and three wavy lines. In order of the number of lines, they are: circle, cross, waves, square, and star.

\n

In clairvoyance tests, the person conducting the test draws a card from the deck, looks at it to see which symbol is on the card, and records the experimental subject's response (who tries to guess the figure on the drawn card). The experiment continues until all cards in the deck have been used. In some experiments, the experimenter and the subject may even be in different rooms.
