This ritual follows the matrix of novena rites.

A novena is a period of devotion and prayer lasting nine days, aimed at obtaining special graces or intercession. This ritual for the three saints of health has been specially designed so that by following the novena ritual with prayers and making your request daily, you can obtain the desired grace.
