Santa Sara Deck

The Santa Sara deck is inspired by the Lenormand deck and consists of 36 cards. Each card has a central image and, at the top, a common playing card with suits similar to those used in gambling games.

About the Lenormand Oracle (Gypsy Deck)
\n
Marie Anne Lenormand (1768-1843), universally known as Mlle Lenormand, made a profession of divination, particularly card reading.
\n
She became famous due to her close connections with Empress Josephine de Beauharnais and her husband Napoleon Bonaparte. Her association with high society earned her the nickname “Sibyl of the salons,” inspiring the creation of a 52-figure divination game published in 1828. Madame Marie-Anne Adelaide Lenormand’s sibyl offers immediate symbolism and traditional and intuitive interpretations.

Around 1840, this game was redesigned and reduced to 36 cards, giving rise to the “Petit Lenormand,” a divination system that remains highly appreciated worldwide today.
